Welcome to Make Legal Docs. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the MakeLegalDocs.com website and related services (the “Service”) operated by MLD Logic, Inc. (“Make Legal Docs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Services and Subscriptions
Our Service provides document automation tools and related features for attorneys and law firms. Some parts of the Service require a paid subscription ("Subscription") billed on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, or annually) or a one-time payment for a lifetime license.

3. Document Templates and Legal Disclaimer
Make Legal Docs provides document templates that have been created and used by practicing attorneys. While these templates are based on legal experience and used in active practice, they are provided for convenience only and may contain errors or may not be appropriate for your specific legal needs.
Important: All templates and documents generated through our Service:
- May contain errors or inaccuracies
- May not be legally correct or appropriate for your jurisdiction
- Must be reviewed and approved by a practicing attorney licensed in the appropriate jurisdiction before use
- Are not guaranteed to be accepted by any clerk of courts or governmental agency
- Are not guaranteed to withstand legal challenge or litigation
- Do not constitute legal advice
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any document created using our Service is legally appropriate, accurate, and properly executed for your intended purpose. We strongly recommend that all documents be thoroughly reviewed by qualified legal counsel before filing, execution, or reliance.
4. Free Trials
We may offer a 14-day free trial. You may be required to enter billing details to begin a trial, but no charges will be made until the trial period ends. If you do not cancel before the trial expires, your Subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the posted rate.
5. Billing and Payments
All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. For certain transactions, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and is responsible for billing, tax collection, and receipts. You authorize MLD Logic, Inc. (and its payment partners) to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees and renewals unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
6. Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase for all new subscriptions and lifetime licenses. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact billing@makelegaldocs.com within 14 days of the charge to request a full refund. After 14 days, all payments are non-refundable. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days once approved.
7. Renewal and Cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by emailing billing@makelegaldocs.com. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. Cancellations do not apply retroactively.
8. Founding Member Subscriptions
Founding Member subscriptions are offered to the first 40 customers who subscribe during our initial launch period. The program has two phases:
- Phase 1 (through January 16, 2026): $99/month or $990/year ($82.50/month)
- Phase 2 (January 17 - February 28, 2026): $169/month or $1,690/year ($140.83/month)
After February 28, 2026 or when 40 spots are filled (whichever comes first), standard pricing of $299/month or $2,990/year applies to new subscriptions.
Founding Member benefits include:
- Locked-in rate for life of subscription (never increases)
- Template conversion assistance (first 10 templates free)
- Personal onboarding call with founder
- Priority email support (24-hour response)
- All features and unlimited documents
Founding Member pricing is guaranteed only while the subscription remains active and in good standing. If a Founding Member cancels and later re-subscribes, they will be charged the then-current standard rate unless otherwise agreed in writing.
MLD Logic, Inc. reserves the right to discontinue the Founding Member program at any time, but existing Founding Members will retain their locked-in pricing as long as their subscription remains active.
9. Taxes
All prices are listed in USD and may include or exclude applicable sales or value-added taxes, depending on your jurisdiction. Taxes are calculated and collected automatically by our Merchant of Record where required by law.
10. Account Responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, code, and intellectual property within the Service are owned by MLD Logic, Inc. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service solely for your lawful business purposes.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, to infringe on others’ rights, or to attempt to disrupt or harm system performance or security.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no representations about uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MLD Logic, Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service during the prior twelve (12) months.
15. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify these Terms or the Service from time to time. Any material changes will be posted with at least 30 days’ notice before taking effect. Continued use after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Venue for all federal matters shall lie exclusively in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and venue for all state matters shall lie exclusively in the courts of Volusia County, Florida.
